What is Rest?
Most people think of "rest" as kicking your feet up on a Saturday. Or spending time doing nothing. That might be an expression of it. But the Rest of God goes beyond what we do or don't do.
It's an identity. A state of being where there's no lack or seperation. It's a nature we get to partake in through His resurrection. It's a promise from our Father, that just as He ceased from all His works, we too can cease from striving.
It's where fear, anxiety, and worry don't exist. (They don't even make sense.) A life where your daily bread is the nearness and Presence of God.
Where He is enough and you live from the abundance of His Heart, never questioning if He's for you because His love is more of a reality than life itself.
It's our inheritance. Let's enter in.
